German (“Striking Through” or “Stretch Through”) A falsing action by a circling-motion along the opposing sword, that disengages from one opening and stabs or cuts into another. Also a type of Durchwechselns. According to Meyer, sweeping or flourishing the sword in front of the opponent, to stall, confuse, intimidate, or provoke.
